Another Day, Another Blog.

Okay once again it has been a while since we have updated this blog but we have been busy with school and other issues. So to start off on Saturday the 29th Jaimee and I spent some time studying for our exam but then decided we really needed to get out of the apartment and go do something. Jaimee came up with the idea to go to Dave and Buster's so we went! It was so fun! We played a full screen version of Fruit Ninja, but then we found a deal or no deal game! We played it a lot and all except for 2 times my first instinct was the winning case. Of course I didn’t pick my first instinct though. haha. Then I played one last time and I won! It was great :) After we got done playing the games we wanted to we gave our tickets and went to the gift store to pick out prizes. We ended up just getting 2 Dave and busters cups and some candy. That part wasn't too exciting but we were happy we got to have a fun filled night!

 The next morning Ben's grandparents invited us to go to church with them at Hope Church, so we went there that morning. After church they took us out to eat at a restaurant called Bravo. Jaimee and I had never eaten there before and it was really good! Now on to Monday which was Halloween! For Halloween Jaimee, Bailey and I dressed up as cows and went to Chipotle so we could get it for only 2 dollars! We had so much fun doing it and it was so worth it! The rest of the week was spent studying for our exam on Friday. Finally the exam was over and we went back to the apartment to pack up things to go to Bailey's. After we did that we all washed our hair and got ready to meet Mrs. Allen at Macaroni Grill for dinner because she was in town. Once again we had a great meal! After that Bailey and I decided we wanted to go to Cold Stone Creamery since I never had it before. We were unable to find a one but we went somewhere was almost exactly the same! When we got back to Bailey's we watched some TV shows and spent the night relaxing. On Saturday we all worked on our Nursing papers that are due next Monday. We didn't do anything else that day. Then it was Sunday and we decided to go back to Hope Church since we loved it so much last time! The rest of Sunday was a relaxing day for Bailey and Jaimee, but I decided that I wanted to do homework that day so I did. Nothing exciting happened Monday and then before we knew it, it was Tuesday. On Tuesday we went to the hospital to get out patient research for Wednesday (today). After that we volunteered to work the phonathon at the school to get service hours. We were kind of dreading it, but it ended up being really fun, and we got free food and a free t-shirt so that made it even better! Then Jaimee and I went to ethics and found out that we don't have to write a second paper! This takes a lot of stress of our shoulders since the end of the semester is right around the corner! We are going through some things right now with the apartment and that is adding to all our stress. So we ask for your prayers that everything works out soon and that God will reveal what his plan is for us, and through all this we try to stay as stress free as possible since finals are almost here. Playing Katchup...Yum!!

So...I KNOW!! It sure has been a long time since this blog has been updated. Something Morgan and I did not plan on with having this blog was that college would be so busy that we would not be able to update as often as we hoped. I guess the good part is that I am doing it now! And you will finally be able to hear all about what has happened in the past...if I can remember it all ;)

So when we left off...That's right, Fall Break was just beginning...

Morgan and I both went to our morning class on Friday and then after that we packed up all of our stuff and we headed to Richmond. Well, really we got back to the apartment and Morgan left around 11 and I left around 12:30 because I didn’t pack my stuff the night before. When I finally got my things pack and put into the car, I hit the road. When I got back into town, I met my sister and mom at Wendy’s to have lunch. As soon as I walked in, I noticed that there was a guy lying on the floor having a Seizure!! There wasn’t anything I could do; we had not read anything in my book about helping people in that situation. Anyways, the paramedics can and they helped him out. So after that even we were able to eat our food and have good conversation. After lunch, Stephanie and I went back to my dad’s house so I could get my laundry started. That did not take too much time, then my sister brought out her new long board and we were outside for a while trying it out.

That evening, I left the house to go to the Allen’s house so I could see the four of them again. We went to Pizza King to have pizza and talk about college and stuff. I had a good time being with them again. It felt like old times. I think we went back to their house after that and watched some TV…pretty sure it was Big Break that we watched until I decided I was too tired to stay any longer and risk falling asleep as I drove home.

The next day was Saturday and Sam planned on having lunch with me. After I got ready for the day, I decided I wanted to stop at the mall and get a few winter clothes. I tried to stay there as long as possible so that Sam could meet me at Chipotle for lunch, but he took a long time and I didn’t have anything else to do so I went to Glen Miller to wait for him. That didn’t work either, so I just went home and he picked it up and brought it to my house instead.

When I got back home, my dad and brother we outside playing ladder ball so I watched until I could have a turn. Finally I got to play against my brother and I won! By that time, Sam got there and I was starving. We ate food, and at the same time I introduced Sam to the best show ever, Psych. He actually enjoyed it like I knew he would. From there my dad asked if we wanted to go walk the bike trail with him and Austin, so we agreed. Sam brought his camera and we had a good time walking, and catching up on conversation.

After we got back to the cars, Sam took me to Starbucks because I thought it sounded so delicious! I got the pumpkin pie drink aka the pumpkin spice frappachino. We sat outside until Sam brought me back because he had to go to his friend’s house. That night I laid in bed watching Psych =)

The next day was Sunday and I went to church at CPC. After that Sam and I headed to best buy because he wanted to get some things and I needed to get my new computer checked out. I was having really bad stomach pains so when I did talk to the Geek Squad I was completely distracted and annoyed because the guy wanted I to pay him 200 dollars to get something put on the computer...UGH. I had enough and found Sam and we left to go back to his house for lunch. I couldn’t even think about that because I felt too nauseous. I took some Tylenol at his house and had to lie on the couch for close to an hour before I felt better. His family came over to celebrate September birthdays and we had very very very good food. That evening Cody Dale met up with Sam and I and we went to see Real Steel at the movie theater. It’s pretty much a MUST SEE movie. It’s the best.

Monday was the day that Sam had to leave to go back to college, but we did get to spend half the day together. First we went to his grandma gingers house to spend some time with her, and then we went to subway for lunch. We brought it back to his house to eat as we watched an episode of Psych. Then I left to go back home. Morgan came over for a little while that evening, but then left to watch a show with her family.

The next day, Tuesday, I cannot remember what I did.

Wednesday was the day Morgan and I went back to Cincinnati. When we got back, Bailey came over and we headed to CRU. After that Bailey stayed over. We spent the next evening studying so much for our Nursing Exam which was a tough one, but I turned out with an 87% which is not too shabby. From that day, Bailey started practically living with us ha ha! We have had so many things to study for, she has just stayed here. We had a biology lab exam that we spent so much time studying for, and I got an 88% on it! I was so happy my hard work paid off. During our study periods we made time to have Bdubbs and we ordered 50 wings, along with making a stop at Greaters for some cotton candy ice cream. All in all we love having Bailey over to hang out with. She is the best and the most fun to be around. She literally never stops laughing…she thinks I am funny.

On the 21^st of September the three of us went back to Richmond because Morgan wanted to visit Ben and the Harrington family since it was Molly and Bens fall break at Grove City. Morgan left early, but bailey and I left around three. My older brother was back in Richmond from Korea. It was so good to see him again. That night my dad, Philip, bailey, and I went out to eat at El Rodeo. Bailey and I learned about Simon’s cat that night. Such good You Tube videos! After that we stopped at Wal-Mart and bailey and I bought hair dye to color our hair. She got blonde and I got my favorite – Red! That night we made out hair real pretty!

The next day we got up and ate French toast my dad made, and then my brother took us to the Circle center mall. We had a great day there with him. When we got back, bailey and I got ready for the Fall Festival thing for CPC at the Golden’s house. That was a fun event. There was a hay ride, caramel apples, hot apple cider, and of course all the wonderful people I had been missing. After that, bailey and I were going to go to a haunted attraction, but decided not to. Instead we went and hung out at the Harrington’s house. After we left, we rented a scary movie to watch at my house. Paranormal Activity 2.

 

The next day, we went to church and then later that day we headed back to Cincinnati. That weekend was such a fun and happy one.

This week was just a normal busy week, and we had a lot of reading to do for an upcoming Exam next week.

The week of FUN pictures:)

So I will start off by talking about Sunday where we last left off. We woke up, ate breakfast, and then headed to the Kopp's church. Nick was playing that day:) Church was great and then we headed back to the Freemire's house where we ate all kinds of leftovers for lunch. Sam and Jaimee went out together to Chipotle for lunch:) Then we pretty much all sat around until 2 in the afternoon when it was time to leave. We took pictures and said our goodbyes and then we were on our way back to Cincinnati! We once again took 2 hour shifts. Bailey drove first, me second, and Jaimee third. The end of my shift was when we dropped of Ross. After we dropped him off, we were back on the road again. Son after we started driving again we got hungry and decided to stop at Taco Bell for something. We got back home kinda late and went straight to bed. We got up for class at 7 and the rest of the day did school work. Sam came over in the evening and we made oreo balls though! So that was a plus! It took us forever to get our homework done but we finally got it completed around 11. We then watched a movie and headed to bed. All of tuesday and then Wednesday morning all consisted of school. Then came Wednesday evening! It was CRU time:) We all love cru it is so great! Jaimee and I curled our hair and we headed over to Bailey's house to do Module 7 for our online class before going to Cru. Cru was great like always and it was soon time to leave. As we walked up the stairs we passed by all the candy machines and decided to take pictures! We took so many pictures that night. It was sooo fun:) I will post some of them below! As for today not much went on except Jaimee and I had a major cleaning day where we cleaned the WHOLE apartment:) We decided it would be a great idea since we are leaving for fall break so we can come back to a clean apartment! After we cleaned we decided to make some dinner and watched our weekly shows of modern family and Survivior. Then we went ahead and did Module 9 for our online class! We are like 3 weeks ahead in this class. Its great! Now we are getting ready for bed so we can go to our 9am class in the morning. That is our last class until FALL BREAK!!! No class until Thursday next week!!!!!!

Busy Busy!!

I know, it has been so long since a new blog has been put up, but Morgan and I have been so very busy and there just has not been time. I will not remember everything that has happen in the weeks that have passed, but i will try my best. 

So, since we last talked, Morgan and I have recently gotten involved with a group at University of Cincinnati called CRU. It stands for something like Crusaders for Christ. On Wednesday,  Morgan, Bailey, Sam, and I decided we would check it out. After we spent 20 minutes trying to find what place it was at we soon stumbled upon it. We got there during the worship part. CRU is an amazing group. It has good songs, funny leaders, and a speaker that really touches your heart and brings the stories in the bible alive. It was so good getting back into a group of christian's again. 

The rest of the week consisted of lots of school and lots of homework. Morgan and I really like to try and get most of our homework done during the weekend so the week following is easier to get through. It helps us out with our schedule.

The weekend that was coming up, Morgan Bailey and I were invited to a movie on Friday with the girls in CRU. We went to the house of some of the girls, and ten minutes after we got there tons of girls showed up. The house which they called the "Coffee House" was full that night. We watched a movie called "shes the man" and ate cookies and popcorn. We met lots of girls there and we are so excited to get to know them more. That night the three of us went back to the apartment. Bailey was spending the night, and we ended up staying up pretty late. That night we had an issue. Morgan and bailey both found bugs on the carpet that looked like bed bugs. we were freaking out. All of us seemed to be itchy and we were so freaked out. After spending an hour freaking out and looking up images of bed bugs on the internet, we decided that no, it was not really a bed bug. Wheewww, but that night i had dreams of bugs all over me =(

Saturday we made banana cake and spend the day goofing off and attempting to study.

On Sunday, Morgan Bailey and I all went to church and then after that we spend the rest of the day studying for our exam. Class was at 7:30 on Monday so i had to get to bed at a good time. That didn't happen at all, i was so worried that i wouldn't be prepared for the test. 

Monday came and the week followed after that, and nothing too exciting happened to us. The one exciting thing was planning our mission to Illinois. Bailey was planning to show up on the weekend and surprise her sisters and also surprise Molly with Ross as her homecoming date. She also planned to have Kenzie's boyfriend Josh show up to watch her performance at the Friday football game. After days of trying to keep this quiet and to make sure this was planned completely Friday finally came and we were off to Illinois. We drove for two hours to Indianapolis to pick up Ross. We went to Chipotle for lunch and then we did the last four hours of driving. I had lots of fun traveling with Ross Morgan and Bailey. We sung the Disney songs and other songs and had great funny conversation. We avoided an hour wait in a line of cars because bailey decided she would drive around the line and cut in front. We also located a beautiful rainbow and Morgan and I learned that there was an arrow on the FedEx truck. FINALLY we made it there!! we were so excited to put the other half of the plan into action. We met up with baileys mom and dad and we drove to the school. Josh met us there and we went in search of baileys sisters. We looked in the room, but they had already gone out to the practice field. It began to pour and we were standing in the rain as Bailey surprised her sisters!!!

After that fun, we headed back to her hours to change. We stayed there for a while until the football game, then we went to watch molly do her flags and Kenzie do here poms performance. We had fun there, but it was COLD!!

We then left and went back to baileys house where we got warm and i waited for Sam to show up =) he made my day when he told me he wanted to drive from Greenville IL to crystal lake IL =) it was the best thing ever because i have missed him so much. We watched Aladdin that night, but really we didn't because most of us girls fell asleep. The boys went over to the Kopps house before we put the movie in. 

Saturday morning we had an amazing breakfast thanks to DeeDee Freemire =) she made chocolate chip pancakes, waffles, and cinnamon rolls!! after breakfast we sat around until we finally decided on going to the apple orchard. After the orchard we came back to the house to have lunch. After lunch we hung out here at the house and watched an old Disney movie. Ross and Molly got all ready for the dance, got pictures, and then headed over to another house for more pictures. We sat around her for a little bit until the pizza came for dinner. YUM. We ate and then after that we sat outside at the bonfire. Now we are just sitting around the living room. I am getting tired, but this weekend has been great so far. I don't wanna go back to school yet!! We have church tomorrow in the morning and then we have to make our way back home.

So much FUN! Cincinnati is pretty great:)

Soooo Saturday Jaimee and I finished up our grocery shopping at Aldi and Meijer. We had to get some things in order to make tortellini soup! When we got back to the apartment we started to prepare dinner. It took about 2 hours to get it all done. While we waiting we played sequence and war. Finally, the soup was done!!! We were so excited! We served up and sat down at the table to eat :) After dinner we sat down to watch a show on the Internet while we waited for Bailey to come over. An hour passed and Bailey got there and it was time for us to plan our adventures for the night. We decided to go to Oktoberfest in downtown Cincinnati. It was pretty fun but there were tons of people! We were only there about an hour and then we decided to leave. Then we traveled just down the road to our favorite spot at Sawyer Point :) There we took tons of pictures and sat for a good 20 minutes. Finally, we decided to leave but as we were walking to the car we saw some railroad tracks and took some pictures. Jaimee claimed "That's what all the people do for senior pictures" haha. When we decided to leave we ran to the car but sadly Bailey's foot got stuck in the railroad track :/ Luckily she got her foot out but her shoe was stuck. We all pulled and tried so hard to get it out and nothing was working, it was stuck. After another big tug from Jaimee it came out!! As we got back in the car we headed back to the apartment. Before we went there though we stopped at CVS and picked up some ice cream and a movie.  Bailey and Jaimee wanted a scary movie although I hate watching them I agreed and we rented "Vanishing on 7th street." We soon made our place in the living room and got ready to start the movie. About 30 minutes into it we realized that it was really the stupidest movie ever... Ugh a waste a money. 3am rolled around and we thought we better get to bed since we had church in the morning. We all woke up around 10 and we were so excited but at the time super nervous because we were going to go to a college group. As we arrived at the church we found the classroom and we went in. It was a good lesson about how to communicate with God through prayer :) I know I learned some things! The lesson was wrapping up and the guy sitting beside me asked us if we would be interested in attending a Campus Crusade thing at UC. Of course we said yes, so hopefully we will be going to a meeting this Wednesday! After church I got to Skype with Taylor! Then we all watched the movie Holes. After the movie we just sat around doing nothing pretty much. Then 6 rolled around and we headed over to Sam's to work out!! We did the Ab ripper of P90x. It was pretty intense. We hope to keep it up but we will see with our busy school work all the time. That was all Sunday consisted of. Today, we didn’t do anything except school. We had to be there at 7:30am. We had 2 back to back classes and then Jaimee and I sat in the hallway waiting for Bailey and Sam to get done with their English meeting. While we waited we ate our lunch. When Bailey was done with her meeting we went back to her place and did a Case Study for class. Soon it was 2pm and we were headed back to school for Biology class and learned about skin. After that we came back to the apartment and took out NUR 110 quiz and our BIO 111 test. When we finished that up I stumbled upon a periodic table of condiments and saw that gravy in only good for 3 days. We had left over gravy from the soup so we didn’t want to waste it! We decided to make mashed potatoes and watch some show call ten things I hate about you. It was pretty entertaining. Now we just finished our abs workout and Jaimee washed her clinical uniform in the bathtub. It has been a good day and we got a lot of things accomplished. This week is going to be super busy with homework :/ and we have our 2nd nursing exam on Monday. We probably won't be able to do another blog until the weekend so for now that's all we have :)

P.S. I just got a stumbleupon account today because of Jaimee and Bailey. I love it!!! It is so fun, but it is a really bad distraction!

Catching Up (i am sorry we have been busy)

Because of how busy Morgan and I have been this past week, we have not had a chance to sit down and write out a blog post. Now that I am awake at 9:42 on a Saturday morning, i finally have found some time to write about what has been happening in our crazy busy lives.

Monday

Monday there was not much to talk about, other than it was our busy day of school. We had just gotten back from a nice weekend in Richmond, and here we found ourselves waking up for a 7:30 class! How can anyone enjoy that? Well we got there and sat in our Nursing 120 class and began to take notes over how to do Vital signs such as: Blood Pressure, Temperature, Pulse, and Respiration. This stuff was actually fun to learn how to do. We did not get finished going through the chapter on Vital Signs before our next class, so she said we would finish up next time. After a mandatory 10 minute break we sat down in the same room for our Nursing 110 class. Most of that class consisted of taking notes over.....you guessed it....vital signs, AGAIN! Ha ha, i am sure by now everyone is very clear on how to take vital signs. Which is a good thing because they are very important to do. The last thirty minutes our professor told us to practice taking manual blood pressures. That was fine, but we were really wanting to get outta school because we were tired of being there for almost four hours in one sitting.

After we escaped that class room, Morgan, Bailey, Sam, and I all decided to go back to Baileys place and get some homework or something done. After a quick stop at Chipotle for Sam, we arrived at Baileys place and had some lunch! I am really sorry to say, but Monday was a super hard day to accomplish anything. I do not know what it was, but the four of us were so distracted that we did not get any homework accomplished in the two hours we were at Baileys house...It really was a shame, but at least we did have a fun time with each other. (And, its not like any of the homework we had to get done was going to be due really soon. Just to point that out.) After our two hours of nothing, we headed back to the school for our last class of the day...Biology. Sadly we still could not focus. We took notes for the first half of the class, which is the really boring part, and then we did our lab. I do like doing the labs because recently we have been looking through the microscopes, and i have become a pro at focusing the lens on the cells we have been looking at..Monday we looked at simple squamous cells and stuff like that. It was really interesting, but did not really keep us focused. Anyways, that class got done and then we all headed back to our places for the evening. I can not really remember what Morgan and I did that night. Hmm, probably homework.

Tuesday

On Tuesday, Morgan and I had to go to our GEN class. This is a class that will only be five different time this semester. We have already been to two of them so far, so we only have three left. I believe GEN stands for General, but then again I really have no clue at all. This was a three hour class which was long, but soon it was done! After we got our of there, Morgan and I had to head over to the hospital to do our research for Clinical the next day. We use a program called Epic that gives us info on the patient we were assigned. So that took us about an hour or so each. Morgan and I were on separate floors of the hospital for this because we don't have the same clinical groups. I got done first and sat in one of the student lounge rooms while i waited for Morgan to get done. Shortly she arrived in the room and we sat there doing homework before we had to go to Ethics. We took two quizzes in Ethics. The first was a single quiz, and the second was the same quiz taken in groups of three people. Morgan and I both got 100% on the single and group quizzes. So far both of us have a 100% in the class which is great to think about! After that class we headed back to the apartment to start on our clinical packets we had to fill out based on the information we collected today. Sadly, i ended up learning that I mistakenly collected information on the wrong person! I had to drive back to the hospital at 8:00 and spend a whole hour looking up information AGAIN!! that was so frustrating. Around 9:30 i got back to the apartment and had to finish all my clinical stuff. I do not remember what time we got to bed, but i know that it was not the time i wanted to. I could not wait for Wednesday to be over! Then we would have a easy rest of the week.

Wednesday

I hate Wednesdays only because Morgan and I have to get up SUPER early. But half way through clinical, i am not tired anymore, and i really do love learning things during my clinical. The first hour we sat in a class room watching a video over vital signs, because that is what we would be practicing today in the hospital. From there we got into our clinical groups for our meetings. In mine we just went over out patient information and talked about how to do the clinical packet. Around 10 we headed over to the hospital. My partner and I got to our room and saw that our person was doing PT, so the four of us walked up and down the hallway and we got to learn a little bit about our patient. Sadly that's all i got to do that day because when my partner and I went to talk to our instructor, my partner blacked out and then couldn't see out of one eye, and got a huge migraine. I did get to take her blood pressure, but she had to sit down the rest of the time and I had to sit with her. My instructor gave me a paper that would help with information collecting for next Tuesday, so i spent the rest of the time filling that out. Around 12 we went to lunch, then met back with our group until 1:30. After that was over, i met up with Morgan and we headed back to the apartment before our Ethics class. I would tell you about Ethics, but there is nothing much to talk about. Now to the great part about Wednesday.  Morgan and I were really craving Chipotle, so after Ethics we went and bought some for dinner. Right before Ethics class, Morgan and I stopped at the Red Box at CVS across the street and we rented the movie Soul Surfer. If you have not seen that movie, i recommend you do because it is a powerful movie. That night Morgan and I ate yummy Chipotle and watched a great movie. Perfect way to end a long busy day!

Thursday

On Thursday, Morgan and I got a head start on our Ethics homework. We got that all finished before we went to Biology at 1:30. I love getting my homework done ahead of time, because then I do not have to worry about it right before it is due. Such a great feeling. We went to boring Biology (ha ha) and we took notes again and did another lab using the microscopes. I do not have much to say about Biology because nothing happened in that class to tell about. After Bio, I really do not remember what Morgan and I did, other then homework...UNTIL....Bailey came over!! =) She came after she had dinner and stayed until almost 12! We had so much fun hanging out and talking and joking (about Halloween). We were trying to figure out if we needed candy at the apartment in case little kids came dressed up trick or treating. Then other thoughts came up about Halloween and it was just funny to talk about. We basically spent the evening laughing until our stomachs hurt. The three of us also played Sequence twice, and I officially am a loser and did not win at all. Bailey won the first round and Morgan won the second round. The evening ended well and Bailey left around 11:30 to head home. Morgan stayed up until 1:30 that night to finish reading the chapter 36 on nutrition in our nursing book. I went straight to bed.

Friday (the fun day)

Morgan and I woke up early to go to our Nursing 120 class where we finished taking notes over Vital Signs.That took 1 hour and 20 minutes. Nothing exciting happened in that class so I will move on to the interesting parts of the day. Morgan and I got back to the apartment and looked in the cabinets to find some lunch. Ugh...nothing. We recently went shopping for snack foods for packing lunch, but we did not have anything for dinner foods or hot meal foods. We needed to go shopping. We had not gone food shopping for more than two weeks. We made a list, and looked through our recipe book for things we wanted to make. After making our list, we headed to the closest Wal-mart and spent a wallet breaking amount of $74. Yikes!! For a college student that is hard!! I admit, i worry about money and so does Morgan, but we both know that God WILL provide for us in every single way. So after we both talked about that, we stopped worrying about it. (We still didn't get all the things on our list, so we will make a trip to aldi on Sunday). We headed back to the apartment just in time as Bailey got there. We planned for a Friday Study day. Bailey had just gotten back from the Urgent Care center at the hospital, and the doctor told her that she needed to drink a gallon of water each day until her infection went away. So all day she sat in the living room drinking glass after glass of water, and getting up every five minutes to use the bathroom. We found that funny, and so did she. Sam finally got to the apartment and we all got busy doing homework. We started with an online quiz for Nursing 120, and then after that Sam had to head home to see her Aunt. Since Morgan decided to be an overachiever, she had already read chapter 36. Bailey and I spend more than two hours reading the chapter, but we had a good method for doing it. I split the chapter into three sections. Seven pages in each section. After each section we read we would take a 15 minute break. This helped us so we would not get overwhelmed. During one of the breaks while Morgan was in the shower, Bailey and I had to walk over to CVS to go get her prescription. It was going to take 15 minutes, so Bailey and I decided we would finish reading and then come back for it. On our way out, we passes the rows of candy and chocolate. We needed it!! We got back to the apartment and finished up reading the chapter and doing the work sheets. Then the three of us walked back out into the 50 degree weather to go to CVS and pick up the prescription. Yes, we did buy chocolate before we left. But it was 2 for $3 so we really had to do it. And when they say 2 for 3, they mean it. No tax! So when we got back to the apartment, we began our Evolve case study that was apart of our homework. That was easy enough and now we had the rest of the night to do what ever we wanted to do! Morgan and I watched Survivor on CBS.com while Bailey Skyped with her cousin Evan. Morgan and i went in there after Survivor was over and Skyped with them =) he is a funny kid. By the time that was done, it was probably 12 already. Bailey and I started taking pictures, and then we played Rummy. I taught her how to play =) that was fun. By this time though, i was VERY tired. Bailey decided she would stay the night, so she slept on the couch. It was like 1 by the time we all went to bed. It was a very fun day. Today should be a great day too, especially because we have no homework that needs to be done. 

This was a long entry, it is now 11:05 and i have been sitting her a long time. i don't really want to spell check right now, but i will go back and do it later I PROMISE!! i just need a break right now, and i know everyone is really wanting to hear what we have been up to!

SUCH A WONDERFUL DAY!

Today was a wonderful day in lives of Morgan and Jaimee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now I will tell you why! First of all I would like to start with last night when Jaimee and I arrived in Richmond. After I dropped Jaimee off at her house I headed to my house and then I went out to dinner with my family and Jaimee did the same. Both of us went to Buffalo Wild Wings because that’s what we had been craving for a while now! haha chicken is too expensive for us to buy! We have to use our money wisely :) I know I had a wonderful time with my family and I'm sure Jaimee did too. After eating my family went to Dairy Queen and got crunch cones in a cup! A family favorite :)  As for Jaimee, she went home and watched a movie with her dad. Both of us had a late night and didn’t get enough sleep but that was okay because we were super excited to go to church in the morning! I picked Jaimee up around 8:40 this morning and we were on our way! When we got to church we were greeted by so many people that we love! We told everyone how college is going for us and all the other stuff that has to do with being a college student. Going to church today was amazing! We knew all the people, songs, and were familiar with how the service was going to go. Finding a church in Cincinnati has probably been the hardest thing for Jaimee and me. We love the church in Richmond so much, so it has been hard to find one that can compare to it. We don't know anyone at the churches we have been going to and they are so big that no one has really reached out to greet us. Please pray that we are able to find a church that we feel comfortable at and that we can find a college group that we can get involved in. Since almost all our classmates are older adults it is hard to make friendships. That's why we need some sort of college group at a church! Anyways, after church Jaimee and I headed to Wal-Mart to pick up some groceries we needed, and we brought Sadie along with us! It was so great to see her again; we have missed her a lot!! After that, we headed back to the church and Jaimee went to lunch with the Allen’s and I went to lunch with the Harrington’s and Mrs. Deckard. Jaimee went to Frisch’s and I went to El Rodeo. After lunch I went back to the Harrington house and got to spend some time with Mrs. Harrington :) It was fun to tell her about my experiences in college and everything that has been going on in my busy life! The time I got to spend with her was such a blessing to me :) I then went to Glen Miller Park to meet up with Jaimee so we could go to my family reunion. There I got to see my grandparents that live in Kentucky and some other family members of mine! It was great to see everyone again! After being there about an hour we left and headed back to my house. We watched an episode of Criminal Minds and then got in my car to head back to Cincinnati! When we got back we unloaded all of our stuff and then began doing homework. We have a class at 7:30 tomorrow :/ so we will be getting to bed soon! Today was a great day! We are so happy we got to see everyone at church! I would name all these amazing people but I’m afraid I would forget someone! Well that is all until next time! Thanks for reading!

Our First Exam!!

So, nothing very interesting has been happening around these parts lately. Although just yesterday, Morgan and I took our very first exam in our Nursing 120 class. That was super stressful! We both did fine on it, but next time I am going to plan on studying more than just the night before. 

I did pick up my new glasses from the eye doctor on Thursday, and i really like them. They make me look like i am an actual college person =)

I am trying to think of important things that have happened to us, but it kinda has just been a regular boring week full of homework. Oh, here is something exciting to talk about. On Tuesday, Morgan and I went to ethics and we had two quizzes to take. The first one was and individual test on Scan-tron. The second was the same quiz except we could take it in groups of three or four. Morgan and I both got 100% on the single and partner quiz. We were the only two out of both classes! That's exciting right?!?!

Today is just going to be a homework day for us. We are going to get as much done so that the week can be more enjoyable for us. This evening we do plan on heading back to Richmond because Morgan's family reunion is going on, and plus Morgan needs to get her tire fixed. It has been leaking air. We are going to go to church in Richmond and see all the wonderful people we have been missing as well! Right as soon as i get back into Richmond, my dad says he is taking me to Buffalo Wild Wings, which i have been craving for a while. I am excited for that.

Another not so fun thing happened yesterday. Morgan and I got to pay our very first bill. It was for the internet. BLAH!! Still have to pay the electric one, but that's not due till the 19th so we probably will wait for that one.

I can't think of anything else to tell you about. But I promise when something exciting happens, you will know about it.

Life at Grove City College on Labor Day

Hello our dear readers of this very entertaining blog! (we really hope you are enjoying reading this bog.)

So as most of you know, Morgan and I made a very quick, sudden, immediate, spur of the moment decision to go to visit Ben Taylor and Molly at Grove City College. We had such a great day! We really didn't do very much, but it was just fun to see the people we haden't in a while. The day began with Morgan and myself waking up and getting ready for the day. When we were ready, Ben and Taylor were already waiting for us outside the building. We first walked around outside. (it was super gray and wet and sprinkling outside.) We went into a building where a bunch of football players were. Let me tell you, not being a grove city civilian it was awkward walking into there and having all the football players look at you as if you were in the wrong place. Leaving that building, we went over to a building that had all the gyms and courts and swimming pools. After that we walked around the campus some and then walked to the rainbow bridge where Grove City lovers propose to their girlfriends in the spring. They call it “Ring by Spring” We left from there to head over to ked rec, but before we got there, we stopped at the boys dorms and Taylor and Ben ran in to get a deck of cards. Now is the part where we got to ked rec and the four of us played kemps for a while. After kemps, Ben went to go get his coolio Grove City laptop. Morgan and Ben then went to another table to do stuff on the computer, while Taylor and I played a few rounds of speed. Taylor then decided he would teach me how to play Rummy!! After a few rounds of loosing, I finally caught on to the game and had a long round of wins! It frustrated Taylor to no end that I am so amazing at Rummy! When we finished playing Rummy, the four of us went over and played Foosball. Morgan and Ben won. After that we again walked back to the boys dorm building. It was 11 by then so Morgan and Ben chose to go to lunch off campus and I got to use Ben's lunch card to get lunch with Taylor. We called Molly and had her meet us there. Taylor and I found a seat and then Molly showed up. We got food and sat back down. We talked about Taylor getting a girls number ;) and just talked about college classes and stuff. We then got up (Molly and I) to get some peach smoothies. They were actually really good. Finally we thought it was time to leave. While we were grabbing our trays, I accidentally knocked Molly's half empty smoothie cup over and it spilled all over the place =( Taylor told me that no one had ever spilled anything before at GCC but I knew that he was lying. We then left there and headed to get my laptop so I could charge it. Molly went back to her room, and Taylor and I walked over to his building to sit in the lobby. Meanwhile, Morgan and Ben went to lunch at Pamani brothers, but accidentally went to a wrong exit. They had to find the next exit which was ten miles away. They finally got to the restaurant where they would have lunch. It took them forever to get their food so they ended up getting a free root beer float and Ben got the military discount. That's cool right?? After their lunch they went to Old Navy and Ben bought some jeans. Then the two headed back to GCC. While there were doing all this, Taylor and I were playing on his iPad and he was telling me how COOL my PC laptop was and how jealous he was =) The whole day, Taylor was looking for something “blog worthy” to do so I would write it in here. He told me we should do a video blog. Sadly we did, and it was weird and embarrassing to talk to an iPad. So he got flustered when he was the only one talking lol. I just kinda laughed a lot and told him he was being silly. Then, I don't remember how, but we brought up the 7^th harry potter book and Taylor went to look for the 7^th book so we could read the last chapter. He couldn't find it which was disappointing. Then we wanted to go play racquetball, we were so excited to play, but when we walked all the way there it was closed and we couldn't find anyone there to help us out. So, Again we walked back to the building we were just at. We found a new seat because our previous place was taken. This time we had the idea to build a card tower. This would be fun because neither one of us had ever done it. We tried and tried and tired, but we couldn't do it. The cards were really slippery. So from there we listened to the amazing Adam Young (owl city) and played more Rummy. I am such a winner at that game, let me tell you! Soon, molly texted me telling me that she wanted to hang out, just as i saw Morgan and Ben got back. I went with Molly to her dorm room. While I was gone, Morgan and Ben went on a walk down to the Rainbow Bride, took pictures and had some good conversation time. After they were done with that they went back and got poor lonely Taylor. They played cards games: 31 and Egyptian Rat screw. While this was going on, I was in molly's dorm with her and her room mate Leah. We listened to Taylor Swift, talked, and looked at things on pinterest. We had a good time in there hanging out! I love Molly so much =) (let me tell you, Morgan and I are so thankful for getting to know the Harrington family! Molly, Emily, Ben and Ross are such amazing people to spend time with and I am thankful for them.) It was about 5:40 at this point. We got our stuff and put it in my car and said our goodbyes. Right before that we took some group pictures. Then we all hugged goodbye and we were on our way out of GCC. Before we actually got on the road we had to stop for food and gas at sheetz. Then we had to go to walmart for me to use the potty and buy some tape to tape the tiny area in my window that whistled from the wind. Finally we were heading home at 6 pm. Morgans turn to drive!

 I am riding in the car typing this out and at this moment we are an hour from the apartment. We are both tired. I will upload this when I get back, but for now, Goodnight wonderful people =)

Pennsylvania bound in a split decision!!

Today was soo great! Morgan and I got the chance to sleep in which was so nice, and very much needed. We got ready for church, we went to the Christ Church because we were running so late and they have service at 11. We even made it there 15 minutes late =/ but the service and music was good, we enjoyed it. It was rainy today which was a big bummer, and i got soaking wet as i ran out to my car after chuch was over.

We got home and sat around in Morgan's room talking and planning our dream weddings. I really do not know how we got onto that topic at all, but it was fun to talk about and imagine it. Finally we decided we needed some food in our tummys, so morgan made some yummy chicken salad. We got drinks and our food and sat in the living room watching a movie called Bridesmade Revenge. It was a chick flick but it was SO funny. We laughed alot. After that we sat around thinking about what we were going to do about the fireworks because it would be so crowded and rainey both. We didnt want to go and not have a fun time. So we decided against going to Riverfest =/

"we should go to Grove City" I said just messing around at first. After sitting around thinking about it we just grew fonder of the idea. It would be so fun! Finally we just acted. We called Molly to see if we could have a place to sleep and she said yes! we worked out the plans and decided that we would just surprise the two boys. We got our stuff packed and went on our way about 5:30. After 5 miserable long tiresom hours, we finally got here. I was so tired but excited too. Morgan made a plan to call ben and tell him it was urgent and he needed to be outside of his hall so they could talk privatly. He fell for it. When he came out we walked over and surprise him =) he was so happy. Him and morgan hugged for a while, and then i plotted to get taylor out there and scare him. I called taylor and made up some story that ben couldnt reach him and needed him outside. he thought ben was gonna trick him. He walks out and morgan and I jump out and scare him!! His reaction was GREAT!!

We walked around with the boys places and met up with molly. Finally we got back to Mollys hall to put our stuff away. Im still in here but morgan is our with ben and taylor still. Im so tired, im gonna go to bed right after this. It was such a good surprise for us to do! =) we had fun.

Coney Island!

Last night in the apartment was miserable.. It was so hot. We even turned the air on but it did not cool down the apartment fast enough. The only room the was bearable to be in was the living room. Jaimee was finally able to go to sleep in her bed but not me. I have the back bedroom so pretty much it was the hottest room in the apartment. I tossed and turned in bed and couldn't fall asleep. So i went to the bathroom put cold water all over my legs and arms and went and made a bed on the living room chair. I was finally able to sleep with 2 fans blowing on me and no blanket. When I woke up I was super sore from sleeping on a chair but oh well. Jaimee and I didnt do much in the beginning of the day. We sat around doing homework. Then Bailey texted us and asked if we wanted to go to the Coney Island waterpark. Of course we wanted to go so we began to get ready. We drove to where Bailey is staying and loaded up in her car and soon we were on our way. It took us about 15 minutes to get there. When we arrieved we waited until 4 to buy our tickets because they would be at a lower price. It was so hot today! It reached 105 degrees, so it was the perfect day for the waterpark. Jaimee and i got a locker and Bailey and Tim went their seperate way. Jaimee and I rode a water slide! It was sooo fun but the line was sooo long. After that we got in the pool and we decided to race eachother to the otherside. It was a very long swim but I ended up winning:) We stayed on that side for a while just swimming around and trying to go down and touch the bottom. Then we decided to race back to the otherside. On our way over there we both ran into someone. haha I barely ran into this lady but Jaimee ran into the big man. It was funny! Once again I won and we just sat at the edge talking for a while. Soon Bailey and tim came up behind us and tried to scare us. Well Tim scared Jaimee by grabbing her legs but Bailey failed at scaring me because my legs were up against the wall. Then we decided to get out and we stood in the sun for a while. While we were standing there we saw a old man in a speedo with tall socks and tennis shoes on.. gezzz the things you see at a waterpark. After going off the diving board again we decided it was time to leave. We got dried off and headed back. After we got back to my car, Jaimee and I decided we wanted to get a frosty form Wendy's :) They were so good! Now we are at the apartment and once again its hot.. Ugh I can't handle another night like last night. We turned the air conditioner on so hopefully by the time we go to bed it wont be so hot. Tomorrow will be a very eventful day!!!!!!!! WE ARE SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!! Riverfest here we come!!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

"do you got a boyfriend?"

Oh today, Friday, the day Morgan and I headed back to our boring hometown Richmond for the first time in three weeks. But first, i must immediately tell you about the things that happened before we left to head back.

I woke up about 7:40 and started to get ready for the day. I got all my laundry together and my back pack and other things i needed to put into my car. I headed outside with my handy pepper spray right along with me. After i put all my things into my car and lock up, i start walking back but for some reason i glance back and saw a boy my age walking on the other side of the street. I look away and keep walking but that doesn't stop him from calling out "HEY! Do you got a boy friend!" i replied with a quick "yes i do" hoping he wouldn't head over to where i was standing. Unfortunately he didn't hear me and asked again even louder. I replied even louder with a "YES I DO." "Oh" was all he replied and he walked away.

That was really really really really really really really really really STRANGE! i have never in my whole 18 years of existence ever come across a human being who blurts out the first time he speaks to me, "do you got a boyfriend?" I was totally perplexed. I mean, yes, it was very scary, and i was holding my pepper spray in preparation in case he became bold and came closer to me, but i was just amazed at the up front question.

I immediately go back inside and tell Morgan all about what happened and she replies saying "you cant go outside alone!!" and i said back "it was daylight, and i had my pepper spray! I DIDN'T KNOW!" Anyways, after we talked about it some more, we hurried up and got the rest of the stuff into the car so we could head to our class at 9:00.

Nothing really happened in that class, but it was over in 1 hour and 20 minutes. We got back to the parking garage and soon were on the way back to Richmond. We got back at like 12:20 and soon split up to get things done for the day. Morgan went to spend time with the Amazing Harrington Family (some of them) and I ate lunch and went to get my tires replaced. Most of the day i spent doing laundry and such, but it was good to see my brother and my dad again. We had dinner together and then as my last load of laundry finished and my uniform was ironed, it was time to head back. I loaded the car again and i said goodbye to my brother (who is now taller then i am) and my dad (who is starting to get sick =[ ) Then i was off to Morgans house to pick her up. We finally left and started our 1h and 30min drive back. Around 11:15 we got back and carried all our stuff inside in one trip. (it was so heavy)

The apartment was HOT!! UGH so we turned on the air and now finally it is beginning to cool down! That is about it for today, unless something weird happens later tonight, but if that happens I will be sure to let all our fantastic readers know!!

Catching Up

Since I haven't done Saturdays blog I am going to combine it with today's and catch everyone up on what happened.

Saturday
On Saturday my mom and my sister were still in town and Jaimee's dad was coming in the morning to visit for the day. We got ready, took showers, played with Simon and then we broke off in seperate groups. My mom, sister and I headed to TGI Fridays's for lunch. It was my first time ever eating there! After that we went to Pier 1 Imports to look around and then went to the local Goodwill just to see where it was. After that my mom took me to go get a Kroger card:) Then we traveled to Target and Meijer to get more stuff and just explore the area to see all the stores around our apartment. We left Target and started to head back home but then we found a Dollar General and decided to stop there. After Dollar General we went back to the aprtment to pick up Jaimee and to go fill up my tire. We made our way to the gas station where we encountered some problems filling up my tires. How many girls does it take to put air in a tire well on Saturday it was 4. We accidently did the wrong tire and didnt realize it until the tire pressure was all the way up to 47. Ahh thats scary since it is supposed to around 30. We could of blown up the tire if I didn't catch the mistake. So we moved to the next tire and again it was the wrong one but I caught it immediately. We moved to the third tire and it was the right one! Yay my tire was now fixed:) With that we went to Trader Joes to see what it was all about. It was pretty neat but we wouldnt go shopping there on a weekly basis. Then we wnt to GFS and we were amazed! Jaimee and I really liked it! It even had all the food supplies that we used at our old job! We soent about an hour there and then we went to the apartment to hang some curtains and say goodbye to my mom and sister.
On Saturday Jaimee and her dad went to Chipotle and then went to Sawyer point. They walked acroos the purple people bridge and Jaimee's dad found a great place! That place is actually were we went yesterday:)
Overall Saturday was a great day!

Monday
Today we had 3 classes, Nur 120, NUR 110, and BIO 111. NUR120 and NUR 110 were both in the mornig and we had to get up at 6 and leave by 6:30. Anyways, after the morning classes we went outside to sit because it was super cold in the college. Then we ate lunch and studied with Bailey ans Sam all the way up until 2:30 when biology class started. We sat in class taking notes and then did a lab with the skin cells from the inside of our cheeks. It was pretty cool! Then we headed to Sam's house to study. We studied and now I am doing this blog. :)

Bright Sun and Lotsa Fun

So today is Sunday August 28. 2011! Yesterday has not had a blog made yet, that is for Morgan to accomplish when she has time. Meanwhile, i will tell you all about the fun of today!

So we got up to go to church. Morgan, Bailey, and I all decided we wanted to try another church to see what it was like. It was pretty cool! We got there late and we were just thinking "oh well all we are going to miss is a little bit of the worship...not big deal" then Morgan says "this church probably has their sermon first, and then the worship." We all laughed, Nah I've never been to a church like we all said. Sure enough, when we got in there the pastor was already preaching. Just our luck. After the sermon (which was about respecting authority) we had communion and then started worship which was amazing! I loved the music there.

We got out of there after we stopped at the info desk to find out about college groups, and YES, they had one which we plan on checking out sometime soon! We all headed back to the apartment where we made lunch (Florentine chicken ring thanks to Mrs. Allen's recipe :] ) It was really really really good! Then we hung up the rest of the curtains in the apartment. We got that all done after the excruciatingly loud hammering!

Then we decided that it was time to find something to do. we were searching of things to do and stumbled up information about the Riverfest happening this coming up weekend. Boy did we get excited. It is going to have amazing fireworks by the river, food, pouring a million rubber ducky's into the river, and lots of more excitement with the other 1/2 a million people that come each year =)

We decided to go to Sayer point and hang out, so we did. I showed Morgan and bailey the spot that my dad and I found on Saturday. We had fun playing in the waves, taking pictures, and watching the boats go by. The sun was warm and the water cool and it was just a good time.

It was a great time. Around Five, we left and headed back. Bailey left to go home and Morgan and I spent the rest of the evening doing homework. Another busy day with school tomorrow.

It just drives me crazy!!

So, Friday August 26 2011 was another early morning for Morgan and Me. The good news about this though was that we only had one class which was only an hour and twenty minutes. We got to the school like thirty minutes early (better than late), and sat in the classroom until class began. All we did was take notes over the slide show about safety and stuff. That was easy peasy lemon squeasy. We had the rest of the day ahead of us. We got back to the apartment and ate some lunch, then sat down for some study time because we were determined to get homework finished this day so we could have the whole weekend for adventures. Immediately a problem became evident. Number One apartment guy was being a nuisance AGAIN. Like almost everyday, he had his rap music blasting through our floor. It wasn't loud enough for us to hear the lyrics, just the pounding bass. This drove me insane. The music didn't stop for like two hours, and by then i had enough. I had to leave the apartment. Morgan and I packed up our backpacks and headed to Sawyer Point to get our homework done. Since it was a beautiful day with amazing temperature we both agreed this would be a perfect idea, since we usually don't get out of the apartment much.

It probably took us an hour to get there. The GPS did not show us a way to get there using the interstate. That was frustrating. Later we soon found out why. Morgan forgot to put back in the GPS that it was okay to find an interstate route. But the park was a wonderful idea. We walked until we found some tables right by the tennis courts. We tried to read all the way through the chapter, but it was so long that we couldn't do it all. We did get a little distracted with taking pictures =)

Here are the tennis courts that were right beside the table we were studying at! There are so many of them and are in such good condition! I am so excited for when my foot is better so Morgan and I can play before the winter comes!!

It was my turn to read! As you can see, we were making learning FUN! It actually was a pretty boring chapter to read though. It was about hygein and how to give baths to patients and stuff....

At this point we were ready to take a break from reading and go attempt tennis (that didnt work out too well though).

Morgan really wanted to stand in the stadium down there with her arms raised. So of course i was willing to take a picture of her. And at this point in time, you can probably assume we were done studying!

So when we were not reading anymore, we attempted to play tennis, but my foot was not up to it. Maybe if i was wearing sneakers, it would have been easier, but flip flops were not so good to be wearing. After that we walked back to the car and drove home. When we got back, we read some more of the book but still didnt get finished before Morgan's mom and sister arrived. And what a surprise they brought with them!

The sweetest, most playful, softest kitten in the whole world!! SIMON!! ( this is the kitten sam is in love with) He is so playful and energetic, and he is just so fun to play with. (side note -- this morning he knocked over my table fan beacuse he didnt like the air blowing on him =P)

After the excitment of seeing simon, the four of us headed out to drive around and see more of our neighborhood. We even found a park two minutes away, payless shoe store, and Dots! That was fun. We also went to TJ Max and the three of us tried on these rediculous hats that i dont know why anyone would want to buy!!

 So, after that we were starving and decided we wanted to try Noodles&co. It was so good! we all got something different. We went to Greaters and got some ice cream after that, and then we drove around some more. Finally we headed back to the apartment. It had been a long day and i was tired.
